9:30am

good morning, ladies. i'm having my favoritest breakfast: rice chex cereal with vanilla coconut milk: 150 cals. okay, so discussion....how do you add up your calories? for me, i take the ingredients of things (since most of my food is homemade) &add the cals that way. i write down all the exercises i do but i don't write down what i burned. if i purge, i take away 50cals. so my total is simply what i ate. buuuut some of you have your intake&then subtract what you burned in your workout, giving you a smaller total for the day.
i suppose everyone does it different. most of you aren't as mean to yourselves as i am to myself. which you get kudos for. although i've decided that i might like my cheekbones. they're crazy high cause of the native american genes on my mother's side. so that means i like two things about myself. yes, i'm still okay with my left eye. i'm not sure if this post is making sense or not. oh well.
thanks for all the insight about why i might be cold. the calorie thing makes sense. but i'm not willing to fix it so i suppose i should quit complaining about it. another thing i should quit whining about? my feet. they hurt. all the time. but it's only because i take my trusty razorblade&cut them open when i get frustrated. &when i wake up from a nightmare. my nightmares scare me like none other. so i cut, just to get out of my head. it works. don't hate. though sometimes i wish i hadn't started 5 years ago. i'd say how old i was but i don't put my age on here, though i know at least two of you know anyway&the rest of you could prolly guess. i obviously don't share my weight, either. that's my number one rule, just before 'never finish an entire serving of anything' & 'never go back for seconds'. just three rules&lots of guidelines. does anyone else have a never again list? all i have on my list are pie&donuts. i like to give myself realistic guidelines. i'm not sure if i should or not. but i do. so that's that. stubborn little thing, i am. whoa, rambling like none other. sorry. i've just missed posting. anyway, our computer just had spyware&i took it off so now we're good. cheers for that.
thinspo will be different today cause i found pictures of this girl&couldn't stop myself.

pretty self-explanatory. i wish my arms were that small.
i want to be able to wear tiny clothes like that someday. someone get that blonde some sleeves though.
arms from left to right: thin, average, thin, chubby. the mexican man behind them is not included in the comparison but he gets creeper points.
oh, also she is crazy tall. which works for her. cause she's skinny. it doesn't work for me. cause i'm not skinny yet. but i'm getting there. points for trying? maybe. stay strong today, lovelies. lets be the skinniest out of all our friends.

xoxo

  1. Lol @ creeper points....

I add up the cals of EVERYTHING I put in my mouth, and the % carbs. For homemade things I do like you do and add up the ingredients, then divide them to count the cals for my portion. I usually round that number up. I used to subtract workout cals, but it started making me crazy so I don't do that anymore.

  2. glad to have you back :):):)

i just dont eat and dont add.
or i eat too much and hate myself.
when i do count my calories i put them down in my phone so i can look at my daily total and chastise myself. i definitely dont take away the calories ive burned.

GLAD TO HAVE YOU BACK :)

  3. obviously I don't add the cals I've burned from gym. cause I aim to burn as much as I take and that's impossible.
I just write down intake and exercise. I like to be realistic in general!

    I'm so happy you're finally back :)

  5. your thinspo always makes me laugh. i usually round my calories up and round my exercise down. i'm just too worried that i eat more calories than i actually think i do. <3

  6. yayayayayay your back <3 Your, er, bluntness always keeps me grounded :) I do the calories of the day - calories burnt because...well, i burnt them :) Plus it's great exercise motivation to read the little "calories burned" monitor and think that you just worked off that sandwich, or something :D

  7. When I do my intake, I don't subtract anything when I purge or work out. I'm kind of a spaz. I count absolutely everything I eat, just because I'm paranoid I haven't purged enough or burned enough calories, so I just hope it makes an impact, even though I don't numerically consider it. Like I said, spaz.

  8. Luckily for me, my school's dining website lists the menu for the week, and the calorie info of all the foods they serve in the dining halls. So, I plan my meals the day before, and track my cals with the MyFitnessPal App. I don't exercise much, so I don't subtract anything. I usually round up my meals too, lol. Glad you're back!!!

  9. I work out my calories based on the ingredients of my meals- if i'm being anal I'll weight every little thing, if not I'll go by 'cups'. I tend to keep them separate, intake and exercise. But I'll always make sure I'm negative by working out my intake then subtracting my BRM & exercise. I guess we all have our little things... like I don't add cals from herbs/spices most of the time. Glad you're posting again :) xxx

  10. i don't have a lot of control over what i choose to eat most of the time so i do a lot of estimating, which i hate! but i do subtract my workout calories and get a net that way. it's all so complicated!

  11. Haha that is some serious creeper points :P
I make sure whatever I eat is calorie listed. I hate having to weigh everything out. It's more hassle than it's worth though it does make me not eat if I know I have to...

  12. I have the myfitnesspal app too. I plan on starting to use it once I can get my fat arm to stop shoving food down my throat... When I have counted cals before, I counted every little thing... If I had one M&M, I would figure out the cals for that. I always had a min and a max range that I had to be in NO MATTER WHAT... I did not count what I burned...

As far as the list of never again's... I am not that disciplined... Maybe you can come up with a few for me... To get me started and all that... Keeping in mind I am preggers, and have to eat at least 1500 cals. But the baby burns 300 a day, and my body naturally burns about 1600 a day without working out... So no worries. :)
I always am encouraged by your comments!

  13. Gerenally, I totally forget to count calories which is bad, I know, but when I do, I make two collums. One for what I ate/drank and the other for my exercise, so I can compare.
